Nicole Zell is a seasoned singer/songwriter who lives for sharing her story through song. As a young child, she was constantly surrounded by the sounds of rock 'n' roll during family band practice in the basement, hymnals sung in church, and traditional Celtic music that her grandmother introduced her to. As a teenager growing up in a small Pennsylvanian town, Nicole was exposed to country music which later on changed to soul music when she moved to the city of Philadelphia. As a young adult, she was influenced by alternative rock and synth pop while in her former bands. Naturally, Nicole draws from all of these various influences, blending them together in a unique sound that is her own. However, it was no easy journey for Nicole to find that sound . . .

Nicole first got her start at local open mic nights when she was barely a teenager. After making a name for herself in the greater Philadelphia area, she went on to release acoustic folk EP, Take Heart, followed by 2016 pop rock single, "Heart Open Wide", which premiered on Fuse TV during her stint as a castmate on Dancin' on Air (TV show) from 2012 to 2016. Along with TV, Nicole was also a radio host on SoundStage, a local music radio program, from 2013 to 2020 which she followed by co-hosting a podcast, Follow Your Art, in 2020 during which she interviewed the likes of Dave Days (YouTuber), Andy Allo (singer, actress, and guitarist for Prince), Ben Smith (drummer for Heart), and John Oates (Hall & Oates). Nicole was a member of alternative rock band, American Wolves, from 2015 to 2017 which gained much commercial success and a national tour. Nicole then went on to become a member and lead singer of alternative pop band, THRILLCHASER, from 2018 to 2022. Nicole has taken the stage at renowned venues throughout the country such as The Hard Rock Cafe (Philadelphia), The Ladybug Festival (Wilmington, DE), The Bitter End (New York City, NY) and Bluebird Cafe (Nashville, TN) as well as co-billed with acts such as Escape the Fate, KT Tunstall, Vanessa Carlton, Keri Hilson, and more. Additionally, she has been featured on numerous press outlets such as Billboard, Alternative Press, MySpace, iHeart Radio's Dunkin' Donuts Iced Coffee Lounge, TODAY with Hoda and Jenna, and more.

These days, Nicole lives a more subdued life in the countryside, working on an upcoming solo album. Having seen the highs and lows throughout her career in the industry, she has a powerful and healing story to tell about finding her true voice.
